KSO

The Vibram FiveFingers solution for all that irritating grit, sand

and gravel.  These shoes are designed to “Keep Stuff Out”

and keep you comfortable. The KSO has quickly become one

of the most popular of the four models. We believe the KSO

articulates “barefoot running” as good as any shoe possibly can.

As with the Classic & Sprint, all design elements encourage

“Feeling” as much as possible which is a slightly different focus to

the newer use specific models released this year. Don’t for a second

think the KSO is not a fully fledged running shoe, it is, just with a

complete barefoot focus. From an offroad / onroad perspective the KSO lets

you feel everything, with protection...as nature intended, scary for some, exciting for others, only you can decide.

The KSO features a thin, abrasion resistant stretch nylon and a

breathable mesh upper that wraps your entire forefoot to

"Keep Stuff Out." A single hook and loop (Velcro style) closure

helps secure the fit of the KSO. A non-marking 3.5mm Vibram TC1

performance rubber sole is razor-siped for a sure grip, and a 2mm

EVA midsole enhances plating protection and comfort. (5.5mm total)


The Vibram Five Fingers KSO is best used for: Running, running training, fitness training, light trekking, bouldering, water sports and general travel, especially where you want the extra protection of the mesh upper to keep dust, dirt & debris out, keeping you as comfortable as possible.
