Natural Running Workshops
As the popularity of barefoot or minimalist running grows we receive more and more questions about the best way to both transition into Vibram FiveFingers and to run more naturally in your chosen footwear.
We thought it would be a good idea to offer running workshops around New Zealand to bring like minded people together in a friendly, safe and open environment to learn as a group some of the best ways to develop good running form. A great start to encourage running with less effort, increase your potential running speed and aid in the prevention of injury.
Our first Workshop was held in Wellington on Sunday 28th November 2010. We learnt a great deal from the first few workshops and have fine-tuned and further developed the format and structure to suit a wider variety of runners from beginners through to seasoned runners looking for further improvement. By demand we will conduct many more to during the weeks and months through 2011. All are welcome, including children, they could probably teach us all a thing or two about good running.
We have utilised training methodology from many varied sources but find that the - The Barefoot Running Book, Jason Robillard best represents our goals for the workshops, specifically his guiding principles.

Everyone will receive:
•2 hour Natural method running workshop
•Complimentary Sunscreen for the days protection.

Can’t make your local workshop ?
Thats OK, based on the feedback we’ve had so far we will most definitely be working on more in 2012. In the planning of each of the running workshops we have found a great group of trainers around the country that would be more than happy to conduct one on one or small group sessions in their local area at a time that would suit you better.
